NDIS funding: Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life

Short Term Accommodation (STA), often called respite, funds a short supported stay away from your usual home — up to 14 days at a time. It might be a weekend to try new activities and meet new people, or a planned break that gives your family or carers time to recharge.

Common questions
How long can I stay?
STA covers stays of up to 14 days at a time. Many participants book a regular pattern, such as one weekend a month.
